Washing a torrix rod bag

Hi. Funny question - I need to clean the rod bag for a 12’ Torrix that has slug gunk on it

Anyone tried washing one? I’m a bit wary of sticking it in the washing machine in case it shrinks but the slug stuff is a bit of a bugger to get off

Thanks for any help

I wash mine which are cotton in the washing machine on a 40 degrees wash and they’re ok 👍🏻

If it’s just cotton then you’ll be fine on a low temperature.
The ones you should never wash in a machine are the velvety type
Older Fox, shimano Antares, shimano stradic, normark 2000/3000 etc. anything like that and a machine wash will shrink them
