Wanted- Super Specialist Avon Duo 1.25

You'll be bloody lucky...like rocking horse doo dah these days!!!!
I have a pair and I wouldn't trade them for anything...

Also worth noting Drennan no longer have any spares for them (rings etc...)

Might be worth looking at the series 7 Avon Duo, usually around the £90 mark, and possibly cheaper than you'd pay for a Super specialist

There is a 1.25 lb TC Drennan Avon rod on E bay now , don't know if it's the duo £60 but collect only . Saltash wherever that is :)

Thanks Mike. Just had a look and that rod is the Series 7 (current model). Thanks for the tip off though.

I seem to only ever use the 2 1/2 oz carbon tip on mine, it suits the rod well..
Ive been playing with the 1 1/2 lb version for floater fishing for carp....performs admirably
5 doubles so far....
keep it clean and tidy it will outlast you......lovely rods....
