Yes they areThey are still currently being produced
What makes you say that Jon ??You could be better with chimera 2s, that are for sale.
Some big ChubWhat are you planning to use them for Adam?
I’ve got one and it’s great for small / medium river barbel fishing with say 40g feeders and modest casts
Got to be honest , I prefer the Dark Carbon in the same TC and the Torrix in 1.25 for this style of fishing
I also have the C2s which are more of an all- rounder- heavier payloads and greater distance , but again not my favourites
But fish on - they’re all a joy and of course it’s all down to personal preference
On the Trent Adam? Some big Chub
YesOn the Trent Adam?
I’ve had chimera 1’s in the past and it’s completely the wrong rod for what you want. 2 oz casting weight is the best your going to get from them which is not a lot of use on most of the Trent.
Sounds like he needs my x7, ha!I’ve had chimera 1’s in the past and it’s completely the wrong rod for what you want. 2 oz casting weight is the best your going to get from them which is not a lot of use on most of the Trent.
You’ll regret buying them for that.
You want a distance feeder rod. Something with a 3/4/5 oz tip selection. 12-13 feet long and capable of punching out 4oz. That would cover you beautifully for chub on the trent and give you some muscle too if you hook afew barbel.
