Wanted for chub and perch fishing, something with several quiver tips would be preferred, Fox duo lite, Daiwa,Shimano etc.

Nick have a look at the grauvell specialist lt. A lot of chub anglers rave about it and I use mine for chub, roach and perch fishing.
It has a 1.2lb tc and the best bit is you can pick them up from jk tackle at the moment for just over £50

Their a lovely rod for the price and ideal for small river fishing. If you want something slightly heavier they do the same rod in 1.5 and 1 3/4 tc as well

Have a look at the Fox Avon Duo 1lb t/c, perfect for what you want, i have one and would love another.
