Yeah Rich... am going to give Mark Tunley a ring in the next few weeks about building me a chimera 3 ....I,m in no rush for one at the moment and just thought i,d try for a secondhand chimera 3 as someone out there might have one kicking about gathering dust

It’s the other ones he does that are c3’s
Heavy waters I think they are called.
The flood rods are one of a kind on their own.

Thanks for the heads up Graham I,m in no rush for the rod at the moment so if 2nd hand one doesn't turn up in a month or so I,ll probably ask Mark Tunley to build me one as he's quite local to me ....I won't need the rod till next march so have a bit of time on my side

I would consider selling you a used one, as I have two.

Typical simple Dave Lumb build, chestnut blank, full cork, Fuji reel seat. 8 (3 leg) rings plus tip. Isotope (lengthways) on tip. Minimal graphics.

Been well used but in very decent condition. Would be around half the price quoted above for a new one……

Im near Cirencester- so less than 2 hours; probably.

PM me if you might be interested. But I’m probably off line from now till Tuesday (in darkest Wales).

What I really like about the DL build CS12-SU is the handle length
I have another set with longer handles and just not as nice to use
