Just seen that one on Ebay go for £277, plus 24.50 postage. Wow.

Kevlex....now there is a rod I like! I have the specialist version and great for Perch fishing and actually preferred these blanks to the Kevlar.Blimey that is a hefty outlay.
At least with a Harrison if you accidently break or damage a section you can get Harrisons supply you with a matching section for around £80-£100. They are really obliging at helping like that...with a rod like the kevlex you are totally screwed if you break a section, particularly the butt section!
I believe the Kevlex was a blank that wasn’t a pure Kevlar weave...it was a slightly ‘cheaper’ blank and the solid 1.75 tips certainly handles heavier feeders/leads better imoYou mean the kevlex extreme tri top.
I had one and as far as I know it’s the same blank as the Kevlar in a different colour. The difference is the kevlex had 1.5 and 1.75 barbel tops with 1.75 quiver and the Kevlar had 1.25 and 1.75 tops. With 1.5 quiver The real seat was different too.
a lot of people thought the kevlex was a “better” rod but it’s just the heavier tops that made it different.
