Vitalin

Pet food stall Hoyland market, Tuesday mornings, she goes by the name of Tracey. Also does Hemp and dog biscuits.

It's pet food so any reasonable pet shop will either have it, or be able to get for you.
Very good as groundbait but even better if you put it through a blender first.
Great binding quality but be careful how much water you use, a little goes a long way and you can always add more.

Other than being a carrier for hemp, pellets, chopped boilies, etc. Do barbel actually find vitalin tasty????

Hi , Go to Ebay if you dont want to start drivng out of town to buy it , as cheap as shops (cheaper ) and reosanable postage rates

Sorry Dave W for digressing on your thread. Thanks Dave B for your explanation - was not exactly aware of how manufactured. I have used these in a ground bait mix (up to 20%) in the past for unfussy river carp. I never considered it to have much drawing capability but rather used the ewe nuts as a very cheap binder/bulking agent to lessen the quantity of pellet used.

That's why John Cooks point is a good one - 'Do barbel actually find vitalin tasty?'

Cheers, Jon
