Vass wader sizing

So not being the tallest of blokes, at 5’6, and with feet that would stop me being blown over in a gale 9-91/2, I struggle getting waders to fit, Vass seem to think that foot size dictates body size, I end up looking like a partially pulled Christmas cracker , and don’t get me started on bass’s short leg /fat bloke waders which are worse, does anyone know of a company that will alter the leg length, photo for your amusement

Not sure but try fitting a wading belt around your waist to pull the lower part up a bit.
My Vass waders are very baggy but when kneeling to unhook a fish or whatever they are actually more comfortable than when I use my Orvis waders which were around £650

Diverdave in Scotland (google it) does wader repairs /resizing /adjusting etc etc.

He also sells a small selection of manufacturer returned reconditioned breathables at very low prices. He pressure tests them, fixes any pinhole leaks and then seam seals them so they are actually waterproof (not like most off the shelf breathables which leak). He also sells a selection of brand new breathables at retail price but they are also pressure tested and seam sealed - so better than buying from an ordinary shop.

Highly recommended.
