Hi lads any one got any info on this stretch upper benyons on the kennett any info would be great cheers

Robert, you would be better asking for PMs on the Kennet thread, don't think you will get many takes asking as you have. I will share what I can on here: the upstream end is accessed from Padworth Lane having a car park on the North Bank, the downstream end from Ufton Lane, having a car park on the South Bank.

any info on the upper benyons of the kennett could you pm me many thanks rob

Hi men,

Reading members have a forum as well , so stretch specific stuff that might help ?.

Hatter

Fish are very catchable and in predictable spots, plenty of features all the way through, it is seen as the ' premier' RDAA stretch and attracts regular attention. Most will have a chat whilst walking the banks. Ian is right, better to seek PMs. It does benefit from the Bronze night permit that allows for the opportunity to catch after dark. Put some time in, walk the beat and look for likely spots.

I love the stretch, if it looks like a Barbel swim, then it probably is !!
If you are a member, why not have a wander with a bit of kit and bait ??
