You can show/hide any of these by going to Settings / Albums
1. The normal one used to display a photo in a forum is IMG Code
So do NOT click the Insert Image icon, just paste this IMG Code directly into the box into which you are typing your message / reply / post
Your post with the IMG Code will look something like [ IMG ]http: ....photobucket blah blah ....[ /IMG]
2. If you click on the Insert Image icon it launches the box you mentioned and you paste the Direct Link into this box.
Your post with the Direct Link code will ALSO look something like [ IMG ]http: ....photobucket blah blah ....[ /IMG]
So basically there's two ways of doing the same thing, and using the Image Code is the easiest and less effort

Incidentally, your fine barbel posted on the Loddon thread showed superfluous stuff, it worked but it was not necessary - not your fault though !!
