Unexpected week on my hands...

I have been given an unexpected week off work next week and as such have decided to commit to a river campaign, putting in as many hours as I can on the bank to target barbel. With the nights drawing in, work commitments mean I can rarely get on the bank during this time of year so it is a very welcome surprise.
Given this, how would you approach such a week? I am thinking of taking Monday to take on walk of some sections I am interested in, bait a few select swims and cycle my time between these swims throughout the week.
