Unexpected catch, not bad to end the season.

I cannot remember any bones in the fish I mentioned , however the cook who prepared them is actually a chef in a restaurant so that may explain it . I do not generally rate German cuisine too highly, but she did make s good job of the dishes .

I have caught pike by design on 'kebab' rigs which are basically chunks of fish mounted on a plastic skewer. They don't look anything like a fish so it's all about taste and smell, but on the right waters they do work. Also had them on pellets, boilies and bread and feeders
That fish of Bill's is an absolute belter, can't come close to that but did land this one twice @ 24-4
Once on 2 rubber maggots, then later on a tiny minnow dropshot so they must hoover up fry
