Trotting success

Just wanted to share my trotting success, have had a few barbel on the float over the years but never a multiple catch. Had x5 on the float yesterday on the Wye, all on trotted 8mm pellets under a 6g Slider float. 10lb match team line and a 14 hook, banded pellet. Feeding slow and regularly. I am so happy to experience such good sport in a truly wild environment. The float might become my first choice now, if conditions allow.

Thanks, I was not sure about trotting pellets, they seem so unnatural, but after feeding for 10 min the barbel seemed to switch on to them.

Love the colour of wye fish they have those green and copper tones... good angling
