Tripod option

Just thought I'd share this new tilt bar from korum. I was looking into the idea of a tripod but wasn't sure I needed one found this will fit to bank stick. Cheap and solid option

The only downside would be faster rivers such as the Trent or rocky, stony venues where bank sticks aren't an option.
In reality though I never use the bait runner facility on my reels as I'd rather sit behind my rods watching the tips, unless I'm having a pee or making a drink.

Blimey! If i'd never used a baitrunner I can't imagine how many rods and reels I would have lost by now, and that's sitting by my rods! 😅

I never set my bait runner unless I’m turning my back on my rods.
I sit right on my rods let the top wack right round and grab it.
Last time I used a baitrunner on a small feature packed river it cost me the fish as she bait ran straight into the roots of a tree.
yes you’ll easily lose rods if you ain’t on the ball but if you keep them rod buts from lifting and use a high side rest then you’ve got loads of time to get to them if they are infront of you.
