Trent day ticket advice.

David Craine

Senior Member & Supporter
Hi, I may have a window of opportunity on Wednesday to pop down to the Trent for a session afternoon till about 0100 am or later . I was wondering where would be a good shout for the visit . Day tickets on the bank if poss.
I am familiar with Collingham Wier downstream so any other venues would be of interest either tidal or not . I will not be using cane 😋

Thanks in advance

David

A1 pits lock the gate at 8pm, otherwise I'd recommend there.

Fiskerton. You get tickets from the Post Office I believe.

Notts Piscatorials do day tickets on some of their stretches.

Gunthorpe Lock.

Don't think any of the above do tickets on the bank though, apart from A1.

Yes day tickets for Fiskerton available from the Post Office/Village shop but can’t fish after sunset. The “night” fishing is looked after by the HKS (Association of Barbel Fishers) Syndicate and is bailiffed.

Gunthorpe Lock Fishery does day tickets on the Bank for the field below the lock island.
Pentons Field, the next field down from there is Notts Federation day ticket too.
