Hi all, just been offered a pair of Torrix 12' 2lb rods, custom built but not used .
I already have the 12' 1.75 .would there be any advantage over the 1.75 ,
Apart from the Bargain price .
Thanks in Advance 👍

I'm selling a 2lb Torrix that's hardly been used as I bought 2 but rarely fish 2 rods where I go now.
Lovely action and just seems to keep on bending.

I have both, they are both nice rods but I think the 2lber is better balanced.

PS I bought the 2lber 2nd hand from you!!! :D
Yes you did , these have been offered to me , but I don't think I will bother .
He's selling as pair ,but I only use one so think I will give it a miss.👍

Adam, I have both.
Advantages.
Happy to cast 3oz filled feeder far bank on the Wye. Not so the 1 75.
River with lots of water, happy to fish the 2lber can struggle with decent double with 1.75.
Especially rocky ground

Adam, I have the 1.75 and 2lb tips for mine, very rarely use the 2lb, depends on where you normally fish.

Bob G. built me a torrix 1.75 / 2.0 twin tip some years ago. I tend to go to the 1.75 tc top section except during flood on Stour and Avon. Great rod.🙂
