Torrix 1.75 tc .. 11 foot / 12 foot question.

Hello all, in my collection of rods I have a 12 foot Harrison torrix 1.75 tc and are thinking of adding the same rod but 11 foot to my collection. Has anyone got both rods. If so could they tell me if they both feel the same, but one being obviously shorter, or are the feel and actions different ???. I also believe when purchasing the 11 foot 1.75 tc, you also have the choice to purchase the 2.00 lb tip section at the same time…. Has anyone done this, does it work well. 11ft 1.75lb tc best of the lot in my opinion and totally different to the 12ft torrix 1.75lb tc. Just my opinion and I’ve had lots of torrix rods

i have both the 11' and 12' 1.75s and contrary to most I prefer the 12'. The 11' is much more tippy in its action whereas the 12' bends more through the rod which I prefer.

It's just a joy to use in the right scenario, and never ceases to put a grin on my chin!....

In all seriousness, it is a truly versatile blank, i reckon it does 99 percent of what the 1.75lb does, and probably 80 percent of what the 2.25 12ft torrix will!!

My harrison 11ft
2.25 tc is also my go to flood rod
Built by mark tunley the dogs .,....
Had barbel to 11 .10 no probs.
