Hin all, just stumbled across these tip light holders, available from the link.

I bought a couple in Spain earlier this year, they really are slim, flexible, grip the rod tip well, dont impeded casting at all, dont snag the line, and take the large chemical lights sold in Lidl.....
May be useful.. only problem is that the delivery cost is £4.95 .....

The holders are made by a company called "Zun Zun", never heard of them in the UK.
