time has come to give up fishing after 50 years

Sad news steve had some good times on the Ribble and Dove with the not rites .
Was out last night it now takes me a day or two to get myself back to normal as a 67 year old.no long walks 400 yards max hopefully keep going for a few more years.
I know what you mean though I'm a couple of years less than you! The problem I have, and it is not going to go away, is the complete lack of waters within an hour of where I live. If I go it needs a longish drive and a full day which is tiring. What I want is decent fishing close enough so I can just fish for a few hours. All the usual family considerations plus one or two more even at 65 make this hard to achieve. I'm working on it though. If I don't resolve it I simply will have to give up which I don't want to do! 👍
