I was going to go fishing today despite the forecast of 4 hours of thunderstorms.
Then I saw this.

Take care out there chaps!

I was out fishing in thundery weather yesterday ,I find witnessing / being in a storm very exciting, however I was praying I didn't get a bite when the lightning was at its height as I didn't want to have a rod in hand when the storm was so close . Needless to say I got a ripping take as the lighting flashed . I played that Barbel very hard and was so relieved when it slid in the landing net and I hadn't fried myself and my cherished cane rod !

I've just got back from a 24hr sesh. I wound in as soon as the thunder started, the nearest flash was 3 seconds away. It was a spectacular storm.
