Three piece barbel rods

Maybe a strange question but does anyone still make a three piece barbel rod (not carp rods)I don't mind setting up on the bank but will make it a lot easier to get in the motor. thanks

Sounds like Nash etc are missing a trick here, a part telescopic specialist range like the Scope carp rods (which are tremendously popular) would surely sell really well. Easy to hide in the motor etc for short after work sessions, easier to get through overgrown swims.
 
to be honest Bob I think your right but not only Nash all the manufacturers, we seem to have gone on to a two piece rod culture as it is and to be honest it does not suit myself and God knows how many others have the same problem when getting the rods into the motor without rearranging the car ,dropping all the rear seats when only taking enough gear for a quick session roving or whatever. ( rant over ) lol. thanks to all 👍

Since I mostly fishing with the bike, the rod travel length is always my first concern when buying new rods. I have few travel rods including the Harrison 4pcs Avon, used to use Korum opportunists xtnd rod, but don’t like the action.

And now, I am using a 6ft nash scope if I want to travel light and roving around.
 
I’ve just purchased a Harrison 3 Piece Barbel Stalker 9' 2lb- Barbel rod made by Buzzard Rods in the U.K.
Hasn’t arrived yet but it’s in its way!

I have two Greys 4 piece stalker rods so you can use it at either 9 or 12ft.

I think it's about a 2-21/4 TC so more suited for bigger rivers if fishing for barbel.

Yateley Angling Centre used to do a Harrison stalker with a separate extension piece that are very highly sought after these days.

I'm surprised more rod companies haven't gone down the 9/12ft route

How short does it have to be Paul, Korum do an opportunist XTND ( telescopic butt section ) in 12ft ( 1.75lb or 2.25lb test ) which in transit should be no longer than 10ft in travel mode
