The world really has gone mad

Almost impossible to sound original now without sounding terrible!
Still some good stuff about if you look hard enough, though nothing you haven't heard before. Gretta van fleet sound just like Led Zep for example, also Graveyard are very 70's rock. My current favourites are Wo Fat if you like your heavy rock!
You'll struggle to find anything mainstream that's any good sadly.

Led Zep, Cream, Chicago, Hendrix, totally blow anything out of the park nowadays.

Totally agree Neil, Pink Fairies are my favourite band, well one of my favs anyway, and It's surprising how many of taodays younger generation are into 70s music. The best era by a country mile for music, even bands and songs I didn't like back then sound good now.

Led zep ... small faces Tribute band
Chicago... American soft rock
Hendrix... I’ll give you that
Bollards... Chicago well early Chicago were not soft rock, not by a long stretch, Chicago and Chicago Transit Authority two of the best imo albums ever produced. Yes they went soft from ''If you Leave Me Now'' and onwards, Are you serious about Led Zep? You missed out Cream, probably the finest line up ever as far as talent. But there you go Terry, it's all about opinions, it's just that you are wrong ;)
