Hi all,

I've just put together a simple new website for Richard who runs the Haven on the Teme. Richard has supported BFW for many years in advertising with us and letting us use the Haven for fishin's, so please have a look :)

Barbel fishing on the Teme - The Haven Fishery on the Teme

Many thanks,

Andy F

That's looks very nice there just sent him a email to book a trip there cheers for that Andy regards rob

Nice site, the only thing missing for me is a postcode or co ordinates for the fishery, at least that way I could look to see how far away it is

Hi Ricky, if you head towards the Teme Valley brewery, or the " Talbot " pub, both of which are very close to the " Haven ", i,m sure you,ll find it. :)

Its on a nasty bend at the top of hill pull over into layby and go through shut farm gate in front of you. Park at bottom of hill in field if wet.

Hi men ,

Have a breakfast in the Talbot Inn on the banks upstream , home made , home cooked , to die for .

Ile Second that Mark..Excellent food to be had at the Talbot..
The Talbot also have their own stretch of the Teme right by the Pub, some nice pegs there and there used to be some nice Barbel there also, although not been there for some years so no idea what the fishing is like now..
Theres a foot bridge right by the pub, you used to be able to watch the Barbel moving up and down there..

Both the Haven fisheries are excellent, with swims of varying depth, width and general character. The Teme's just a lovely river, which I fish far too seldom.....
