Not sure what you are getting at Deano..... whether an angler is famous or not has no bearing on how much time they have to fish..... Unless the famous angler is full time sponsored and does not have a "normal" job. Then it is a matter of having to catch to fill web or paper pages!!!

You bring up the witnessed part again as if you don't believe it.If it was a well know angler would you be asking the same thing ? . I think you got to be B/S member to win the award I think and Im not sure Kev is.Like I said both massive barbel
 
Rich, i get the " only BS members can vote " but is it only " BS members " who can win it ????? If not, then i agree with Neil and Dean, ( Kev Gittins river record ). Just my tuppence worth. :)
 
Hi Derek...... from what I can see on other forums you have to be a BS member to be able to win it....... however.... we will see. :)
 
How times have changed.in 1971 I had a barbel of 8 / 12 ozs from the Middle
Severn .i can still see it coming over the net.every body thought it was a big fish.the record holder deserves the plaudits
