Hey Trevor, any idea if the Aeronium chair fits onto Korum's Ruckbag? (not sure if this question has been posed previously or not)I managed to buy a Korum Aeronium chair for £50,well pleased with it plus a few pellets and amino dip at a decent price
Hi Mike, many thanks. If I do buy one (but I've got 3 chairs already, one more suitable for flat banks though, which is still unused) I'll fit it with longer front legs. I'm really pleased with the legs I lengthened on my most used chair a few months ago.It probably does Terry, I use a bungy to fit it to my Drennan rucksack.
Be aware, although extremely light this chair has two faults. 1) the legs don't extend very much, so fully out it is still a low seating position. 2) the seat covering isn't very comfortable. My JRC specialist X-Lite is a much better product.
MANY thanks Mike for that info, you've saved me from buying another chair that I might use only once or twice. I'll maybe try fitting one of the chairs I already have to my Ruckbag.Terry, leg extensions not that simple on the Aeronium. The existing leg tube has a cut out in it where the locking system operates, ( not a simple round section). Also the section where the leg slides into the frame is very short, so your extension would be permanently outside the frame. That would mean the legs would not fold flat for carrying. Sorry but I did look at doing this on mine.
I suggest you have a look at one before buying.
Thanks Mike, as you say legs don't extend much! ... and the mud feet are very small. Still, if legs are long enough and feet are big enough for what you need then it's a great little light chair.View attachment 11206View attachment 11207View attachment 11208 Drennan specialist rucksack with Aeronium chair simply attached with bungy rubber.
