I'm sure I'll find you Jerry...:D

Guys....Jerry and other volunteers are putting a whole lot of time and effort into trying to raise money for a very worthy cause with this marathon....and not getting TOO much help from us lot on here :(

The cost of a pint lads? (beer or maggots :D) Anything at all would help Jez and his merry men. Just think what we could do, if enough of us pitch in, for the poor guys who have been traumatised and often horrifically injured in the various conflicts they were involved in for their country over the years. The governments who ordered them to fight these wars have pretty much let them down in the years since, leaving many to struggle on as best they can in often degrading and inhuman conditions.

We can do better than that, can't we?

Cheers, Dave.

Ironic really, we actually had a real life serving hero posting on here until he was banned recently.
I'm a help for hero's supporter, every time I see the stall selling the wrist bands I buy one, they make superb rod bands.

Care to explain that one Adrian? Having used my post as the header for your comments, there are some fairly serious personal implications there. I would love to hear exactly what you are trying to say old chap.

Cheers, Dave.

Dave, they are talking either about Pat or Richard. they were recently banned as people didnt agree with there caustic posts or attitude towards a forum enviroment.

Basically internet wariors who wouldnt say boo to a goose in real life and like to inflame people to respond negatively.

One of them must have been serving at the time I assume, probably a chef or summat lol

Did you never see Under Siege?

Are you criticising the moderating on here Adrian?

Coops and Tinca had their posting rights removed due to persistent aggressive or antagonistic positing, just the same as anyone else would have.....
They knew the score, same as everyone else who post on here.
Its not difficult to understand.....and some might even suggest their whole reason for posting on BFW was to get banned....

Can I suggest that others read the BFW rules....

Not sure what the reference to us having a 'real life serving hero' posting on here, has any bearing to anything... I'm sure you don't know the job description of every BFW poster... maybe we still have servicemen posting on BFW....

Don't get your knickers in a twist Steve (Oops, did I really say that) No criticism on my part, even though I am well aware of your history with Patrick, I was only posting the facts is all.

History???? Think your getting mixed up in your more senior years Ade, I've spent many enjoyable fishing sessions with Coops including out on my boat....
We've chatted numerous times about boats and boat fishing also and he even sent me some juicy info on a water I was interested in. He's been round my house a few times as well....
No problems between us that I know of and he's a big enough man to tell me if there is......

So go on then.... whats my 'history' with coops?

Steve

I told him and Karlos what I thought about them both and that was that...
Bloody hell, your worse than my missus for dragging things up from the past...
As far as I'm concerned that was over and done with years ago...
Oh and they didn't hack my account, they took an educated guess at my password....

Sorry for hijacking the thread Jerry..., a donation on its way....
