Thought I’d share this unintentional monster 15lbs brownie caught on a recent pike session on a trout Stillwater. It took a liking to a large mackeral tail and gave a cracking fight

Looks a hell of a lot bigger than 15lbs. If you hadn,t of told us of the weight, i,d of gone 20lb plus. But well done anyway.

I said the same, knew it was a trout, but shocked to see this thing come up

You’re right there Richard, I know they’re getting bigger prior to spawning, but this one obviously likes the trout diet.

A trout???? Looks to me like that one swallowed the last angler that caught it
