Terry Eustace big tench blank

I was wondering if anyone knew what rod blank these used and their T.C.

In my searching I found that the terry eustace carp rods were built on conoflex blanks, but I couldn't find anything on the small or big tench rods.

Spoke to Eric who used to build Terry's rods for him the big Tench was built on a 1.6 lb test curve Conoflex blank hope that helps.

That squares with my recollection from talking to Terry.

I had a pair from him in about 1979. One got nicked, I still have the other one.

I'm tempted, but it's the conoflex 150/7 I'm looking for at the moment. (I got to see a few classics my Dad has and really liked the feel of the 150/7 and his carbon kevlars)

I've heard Terry used a lot of conoflex blanks, does anyone know if he built any rods on the 150/7 (11ft, 2.5lb, soft action)?

I owned a pair of these for a while. Purchased second hand, brown hollow glass and built by Terry Eustace. I recollect a test curve of 1.25 lb at 11 feet. From comments here maybe I'm wrong. I used the rod for barbel on my local river and the fish certainly put a bend in the rod. The 'power' of the blank seemed nowhere near 1.75 lb tc. I eventually sold them to someone from Germany.

It's amazing how much info on old rods gets lost to time or is re-told differently. I had no idea there was a T24a and the posts I'd read about the LR carp talked about it being 11'6".

Side note: Managed to dig up the listings for Glass blanks on the conoflex website circa 2001-2003
