The drennan bream and tench feeder rods are excellent tools and very versatile. They will punch a pva stocking out a good distance when bream and tench fishing. I also use them for carp fishing on the surface because of the action they afford.
Dai I believe your right about them, they are based on the blank used for the flood water barbel rod, another proper tool.

If only you knew! As I’m a nice man I’ll tell you. The Drennan rod you refer to is the same blank as one of their barbel rods - and in case you were wondering the barbel rod came first!
