Ghandi also said It is better to be violent, if there is violence in our hearts, than to put on the cloak of nonviolence to cover impotence.
Wow...both those quotes came from the same fella?
Cheers, Dave.

Richard,
Where did I mention country in my post?
We all are expressing our views on an open forum, that is what they are for are they not? You are entitled to yours as well but please do not resort to calling fellow BFW members "morons" I for one do not put myself in the same light as the idiot(s) that did this.
My view is that for whatever the reason and whoever did it should be punished, it may only be a swan but how the hell does it warrant being shot with a sodding crossbow?
Bring back the death penalty!! You kill a swan, you're gonna swing!
Nick,
My apologies for incorrectly assigning the predictable quote about EE's to yourself. However I did not call BFW members "morons", I said that those who propose a disproportional violent response to the swan killing were as culpable as the perpetrator(s).
Racist Richard No, its just that we know that some of our Eastern European friends have history in these kind of acts.....How do we move forward? Well the courts need to come down hard on every criminal that comes up in front of them, no more soft mamby pamby judges!! Lets have some kind of proper deterrent please..
John,
Let us for a moment assume that for the very worst crimes we go back to hanging drawing and quartering, which I think you will agree is about as hideous a method of execution that has ever been.
that may have been the best they could come up with then mate but to be fair, the wood chipper wasn't invented until the 1950s.

Or...perhaps we could pay Paul Mckenna loads of money to mass hypnotise certain groups into feeling that home is a very nice place to be
Cheers, Dave.
re-educate em, quietly tell em about the great sport to be had hunting furry things along the rivers and lakes, tell em it takes great hunting skill to claim one of these things![]()
