Swan mussel shells / GLM attractant

Has anyone used GLM as an attractor in their bait making at all please ?

Was walking the bank yesterday and after the water dropping down a metre I noticed hundreds of swan mussel shells on the bankside.

I know Nutrbaits do GLM powder (as do Holland & Barett) and was thinking of soaking some boilies and “crusting” the outsides.

I’m guessing barbel use their pharyngeal teeth to crush the shells to get to the mussel so they must be part of their diet.

Hi men

Used the DNA hookbait evo kit where you layer the boilie with a few ( or as many as you want ) powder/liquid attractor . The final dusting for me was always GLM 👍. My pb carp along with many other came to these hookbaits , and could almost be designed for moving water / barbel fishing .
Sticky Krill Active does the same in a ready made version , but the DNA is very good for individual variety.

Think you want the full fat version , not the defatted version.
