Stolen fishing tackle chippenham

Just been informed my sister has had her garage broken into last Tuesday in Chippenham (South Cepen Park) the scrotes took all of her partners (Mark) fishing gear, and one of my rods that I haven't even seen yet let alone used,as it was a purchase from Shippo:mad: However his loss is devastating they cleaned him out, even his rigs, Mark is a great lad, and a keen newbie Barbel angler, of course I can help him out with some tackle, but you know it's never the same.
Don't have the list of gear usual stuff, Prodigy barbel rods, Shimano runners, Drennan extending handle, unused Drennan float rod from Shippo also, total is over a grand. Will try and post the full list later, in the meantime I know I can rely on you guy's to keep an eye out.

Cannot believe it ####### barstewards. I will keep a very good look out. If he needs anything to get him through I have a float rod and reel he could have weights leads floats a reasonable barbel rod centrepin that might see him through tell him to give me a bell 07590621344.

Cheers Clive, I was going to pm you, that is a tremendous offer, I will let him know.
I have a redundant Hyperloop barbel rod,:eek: and some reels and bits, so maybe he won't look to shabby :)

Cheers Barry, got a feeling their local scrotes, reckon they must have clocked him...left everything else just the tackle was nicked.

They gained entry through the up and over door..so a lesson there.
 
Total scumbags , think we can up with what should be done to them , cant imagine my feelings if my gear got knicked :(
 
Really sorry to hear this. I read a tweet from Martin Bowler that there have been a few tackle thefts in the Chippenham area recently. He mentioned something about Facebook being used to target people.

I had my garage emptied a few years ago and they were choosy, only taking the decent rods. Scum.

There's often a link to a tackle insurer in one of advertising banners on BFW which might be worth checking out...

Thanks Andy and everyone else..actually Mark has met Martin on the BA and at every opportunity shows the pics :)
 
Neil, I have a Korum Neoteric 1.75tc and Shimano baitrunner which I would gladly lend out until he can sort something out. I'm at Kellaways tomorrow so send me PM and I'll bring it with me.

Have you ever had to claim from them?
I looked into them when I had a caravan and they had a very poor reputation .
(Try a google search).
