Spigot on carbon landing net handle

Guys

I am after a bit of an idea on what to do with my landing net handle. I was out last night, came to brake everything down at the end of the session, and the spigot at the end of the pole would not let the net loosen and screw out. Instead the spigot popped out of the landing net handle.

If I use superglue / Araldite to fix the spigot back in the pole will that be strong enough - or do you think I am looking a t new pole? I have had it a few years and it is 'just right' for the high banks I am fishing on the Mole / Thames.

Cheers

I would recommend using "regular" Araldite rather than the quick drying Rapid. obviously it will take longer to cure but I've found it far better in the long run
