Here's a Speedia that sold for £19, showing that a good working model can still be got for next to nothing. If you want one for a collection then maybe silly money is required, but if you want one to use and bits of paint, lack of a box and a slight wobble (all Speedia's have a slight wobble) won't worry you.
In fact I regret not bidding for this one as if I re listed it in the vintage listing I would get twice as much back. Still, as I got an Adcock Stanton, with broken handles, for £36 I am not complaining.
