Bit of a random question but does anybody know how big the front pocket is on these? just wondering if I can get a medium fox box in the front pocket.........

Hi Greg, yes the Drennan version - Ive been on the whiskey liquors, apologies! lol

That is great, thank you I shall order one - much appreciated you checking for me! :)

No problem, I've had one two seasons now and they are great as a 'day' sac. I have both fox and chub chairs, both of which sit on the clipped on 'unhooking mat' and I attach with a bungy.

That a good feature, will see if my light weight avid chair sits on it

I have the 40lt good bag so far. How do you fit a chair to it?

Andy/James,

I attach some photos showing both my Chub & Fox chairs. It works better if the Sac/Bergen is full (never normally a problem for an angler). If the chair is 'open legged' (Fox), I sit it over and rest it on the unhooking mat. If it is 'closed' legged/ a bar, I thread the unhooking mat through. Then I use a bungy threaded under the shoulder straps to stop it riding up to secure them. This leaves my hands free for a Quiver/holdall and a canvas bail/bits bucket.

Thanks for those pics greg will have a look at mine and see if i can fit.

Hi men,

Not really a help to the original question , but this came up on wish , as an add-on to your straps for phone / keys etc . I have ordered a lot from Wish , takes a while to arrive , but you do pick up some cheap stuff .

Thanks for that Greg, mine arrived today - swallows the fox box in the front pocket and plenty of room for my drop shotting pouch too, thanks again for taking the time to measure your bag for me :)

Attaching the chair with a bungee cord looks good but as a back pain sufferer I might struggle. I will see if it works with my Korum Roving Sack.

John, Merry Xmas. I suffer from several back/shoulder injuries (ripped rotatror-cuff, due to over the handle bars on a mountain bike. upper back problems due to parachute 'incident'. And a lot of general wear and tear due to three winters mountain training in Scotland/Wales pre deployment to winters in Norway, + operational deployments, and the usual carrying of heavy weights required by the 'defense of the realm'.

Look after your back, its the only one we have!
