To be honest of the 3 its the Simpson which appeals most but I have a peregrine avon which I am very fond of . I use my float rods most of the time with polaris floats so a little beef is good.

Blow, I feared you would say that. I am happy to order one from Roger but the carriage is nearly 45£. Thats silly to pay as a proportion of cost , ie getting on for 50%. Thinking I will plan a few days in the west and collect as I indeed did with the avon.
