After much soul searching I have decided to part with the above rod. I don’t believe it needs any introduction on this forum as those who have them sing their praises frequently enough. I acquired this one fairly recently having owned and loved the 13’ 6” for a few years. I’m honestly not into the longer one as much, and as I need to fund a non-angling related purchase I’ve decided to cash in as it were.
In my opinion the rod is in excellent condition. To my eye the only blemishes I can detect are three very light marks and a tiny blob of resin on the butt section. The handle and reel seat are tip-top and there’s nothing off the tip. It’s got the original bag which is also excellent (no holes).
I will provide pictures on request via PM’s (can do WhatsApp if you like).
I won’t post it- far too risky- so it’ll be collection only in York or I’ll drive 25 miles to meet you somewhere.
Now the price…
Given its rarity and condition I’m asking £400 ovno.
If that sounds dear, well, yes it is. But you won’t only struggle to find one as nice, you’ll struggle to find one at all to be honest.
