SOLD Drennan Specialist Power Barbel Rod

12' long. Two tip sections. 1.75 & 2.0 lb T/C. Fuji reel seat, Fuji s.i.c. guides. Reel lines 8-12lb.
NB:- Approx 8" broken off 1.75 lb section but missing eye replaced. £60 collected from Tetbury, Gloucestershire. (Or plus p&p if required).

The rod is still available. Should you wish to proceed, I would prefer collection from Tetbury, Gloucestershire. The reason being the cost of postage. I recently sold a Daiwa 12' two-piece carp rod and the length of the cardboard tube was 1.9 metres. The cost charged by Parcel Force was£41.95! (UPS was about £40). This makes no sense to me! The rod is as described and is in very good condition and I have caught many good barbel from the Wye using it. Now in my early 70's so not on the river much these days. (Would still need to find a tube to put rod in).

Hi Granville, Thanks for the advice. It does seem a costly faff to post and its not cist effective to collect. Good luck with the sale

Yes, still available. Please see my earlier posts about the rod i.e about 8" missing off the 1.75lb section (2 lb section all good). Also my comments about postage charges although this might come down a bit if use UPS small business as recommended by Daniel.
Would much prefer for buyer to see first /collect. Are you far away? I could drive a reasonable distance for the price of Diesel if that helps.

I stay in denny scotland. Not to botherd about the broken 1.75 tip I have them both as my butt section broke. Tried fixing it. worked for a while but has now split the length of it from the break. Have you got any pictures and if you could find out a price for posting please.

Not very good on the computer especially when it comes to taking photos then downloading them and sending them on but I could try tomorrow/Monday? I know the postage will be between £30-£40 ish. Still would have to find a tube to post it. So I would sell for £100 incl. postage subject to being able to find a tube. Please let me know what you would like to do. I would need the money transferred into my bank account before posting.

Do you still have the plastic tube they came in and the isotopes that came with it.
 
Good morning Neil
I have found a Fox triangular tube that is long enough to post rod inside. No isotopes but Drennan sell packs of 2 with various size mounts.
It comes with the original rod bag. I have taken two photos this morning ,bit dark, sorry, and now will try and attach to this text.
