Just seen an episode of Thinking Tacklet fished on SKY Lakes in France
Ali, goes and catches a very nice barbel from the river alongside. The River Marn.
Spoken to the owner just now who would be prepared to let a group, say (6) fish the river on the complex for barbel. He did say that he had the odd dabble and the best he had caught so far was 15 and a half...even though he's not a barbel Angler (least not in the top 10%
)
I quite fancy a trip if the costs stack up? May time maybe for the unscrupulous few Anyone know anything about the river? other areas we could consider? Maybe nearby but not on the complex?
