Should my bail arm have a little movement?

Hi everyone I'm currently sat fishing and just noticed my bail arm on my shimano gt3500 has got a little bit of movement in it, is this right?

Lol not at all Iv spent an an hour and half got broke on 8lb 15oz powerline and had one out at 7lb
 
Personally I'd hope my bailarm would have a bit of movement to it; I'd say about 180` would be perfect to aid with casting....
