Hi

can someone help please.

Is there a big difference between the XT4000fa and the 4000D ?

Double handle for starters!

A Cold Forged AR-C spool with Varispeed line lay makes this reel perfect for thin mono and braided lines, and offers excellent casting performance every time.
With a powerful 4.8:1 retrieve ratio and Die cast gears, the new XTs might be small, but they are tough and can cope with just about everything from hard fighting carp to Pike, Zander and Barbel.

I have 4000Ds and XTFAs. Though some of the specs are not quite as high, I feel that the XTFA is better value for money. It also comes with a spare spool and those spools have a decent line clip. Much comes down to whether you can get on with double handles or not.

thanks for the replies so far

as an Ex Carper :D I cant get on with single handles :D

all those years ago was the single handle of the Black Prince :)

thank you
