Shimano Bought out the XTRA bait runner range for a very short period of time and as a result they are quite rare to get your hands on. A pair like I’m selling is extremely rare.
They are very high spec reels with all shimanos tasty systems in place and a full set of 5 bearings inc the line roller. (No plastic bushes like used on the lesser models)
I bought them brand new a few years ago now, loaded all the spools then put them in a drawer. Never been near the water and never caught a fish. What a waste eh.
They are complete with everything they arrived with including all instructions and service oil.
The result is you get to buy brand new limited edition reels in what can only be described as the best colour scheme shimano have ever used. These are nothing less than gorgeous to look at and depending on how the sun light catches them they can be a metalic dark green or a pearlescent gold with purple, some hints of bronze. It’s just stunning ..trust me they are as near to mint as you’ll ever get.

I’ve got a pair of 10ft e class 2.5lb carp rods I’m after a decent pair of reels to pair these up with would these be too heavy and unbalanced what are your thoughts

I think they would be fine rob I wouldn’t say they were big reels pop up and have a look one evening or I could be around during the day this week you won’t believe the condition
