Shimano anteres spelist quiver rod

Anybody interested in buying the above rod more suited to chub or perch fishing has got 5 white glass tips pm me there must be somebody looking for this type of rod only after about £90 inc postage only has original rod bag thanks .

Apologies Peter, forget that message...not an Antares I am after but a Technium specialist. Was having a senior moment!

Sorry to interject on the thread Alan, but I've owned the Technium Specialists (both the12 ft and 11.3), and they arent in the same league as the Antares models.

The 11.3 Antares quivertip ( I have 2) and the Technium 11.3 quivertip are similar in action but the Antares just feels better and has a little more power in reserve than the Technium. The rings on the technium are crap, and the reel seat looks naff. The push-in tips are the same.

Overall it's just a better quality rod...it should be as they retailed for a fair bit more than the techniums!

£90 is a good deal I think.

And I don't know Peter from Adam!
 
Thanks for the comments Joe, and yes I agree the Antares is a better quality rod and have heard many good things about them. It was more a nostalgia thing...the Technium was a rod I owned many years ago loved it for Chub fishing...I broke the quiver top half but still have other sections/quivers
