Shimano 5000 reels

The GTE (B,C etc) were higher spec and price than the RE. Usually with Shimano, that entails "improved" bail arms, rollers etc and a higher number of, or improved spec, bearings.
 
The RE is bombproof though imo. Had the GTE -C and wasn't impressed with the build quality at all. In fact I broke the handles on both of them!
