Don't knock the ergonomic handle, I have them on my Thunnus 8000s and they are superb. Until you have used them it's not worth commenting really....?

Same here, had them on my 8000D's for years and never felt the need to change them.

Who's knocking......??? On big reels they have their place, used similar on many a multiplier happily, for me not on a 4000 size fixed spool. So until you know what I have used please don't assume I'm knocking them....
