Seer Rover on Ebay

Hi Julian
I have a Seer Rover which was made for me by Jill and Andy Orme at the end of 1996. I still have copies of all correspondence with them.
It cost me £184.55 in total inc of p&p.
It's a great rod and I still use it mostly for chubbing when roving with small feeders. It's probably not quite powerful enough for big barbel / heavy leads but it will suffice for most fishing.
The one on ebay looks correct in the photos as I can see the small tip end and another photo looks as if it's the longer quiver.

Re Seer Rod

Hi Julian
Just looked again and you may be right as what I though was the longer quiver section may just be a photo of the top second section.

Yes Seer rods are great . I have looked at the one on E bay , the photos are poor and it's hard to see what you are getting , the handle with the carbon ' tremble ' rings looks decidedly 2nd hand but at £30 it's got to be worth a punt

nice rods, the rings on the but are supposed to indicate and magnify enquiries through to the fingers or hands to multiply the pulsing of a fish playing with the bait hence the name seer pulse rod, great rod thirty quid i would pull the guys arm off

Re Seer Rod

For your info I did contact the seller and asked if the 12" quiver tip was with the rod but I was told what you see in the photos is what you get. So I am assuming that it is missing and the only tip is the very short one.
