Hi all

Help !! Could you guy's please advise as to what pod or tripod I should buy ? I have just started fishing on the trent and I found that you don't always need a tripod but it could be useful sometimes.

Thanks.

Hi Graham,
I've been quite happy with the Trafford Angling tripod, which has been very useful on rocky venues like the Wye. I believe these aren't made anymore but I'm sure a wanted ad would turn one up should you decide on one. Korum currently have something similar.
Regards
Pete.

I used a tripod for a few years but for the past four bank sticks only. Nash h gUn 48 inch are great.

If you can park near were your fishing the fox sky pod takes some beating, very stable just heavy and bulky, got the small korum one as well and no were near as stable

I've got the Korum one, a tad flimsy but lightweight and cheap. A heavy rock essential for anchoring the bottom end when it is fully extended however there's usually one or two kicking around on the Trent.
