Rod Id/age

Hi there, I ve just acquired what I believe is a free spirit 1 1/4 tc specialist rod. Does anyone recognise it and would possibly know how old it is? Cheers

That was the range of rods that were replaced by the seekers
I’m going say around 2000 ish when coloured glossy blanks were the fashion but can’t be accurate for sure.
They were good rods. Epoxy cracking on whippings is common on them
 
there’s been a few of those cropping up lately there’s a few carp rods with the same finish ( brown gloss blank ) on ebay at the moment
