I am looking to buy a couple of new barbel fishing rods, but rather than dip into the much needed bank balance I thought I'd try to sell a few rods I have.
1 North Western Kevlite Barbel Specialist. 12ft 2 piece 1.5lb tc. A lovely clean rod with a strong through action bend and full-length cork handle. Comes with cloth bag. Offers.
1 Shimano Diaflash Match Float Rod. 13ft 3 piece 390h carbon. Another very clean rod, with a striking carbon weave along it's length. Full-length cork handle with sliding reel fittings. Sold with cloth bag and original Shimano tube. Offers.
1 North Western Carbon Kevlar Barbel Quiver. 11ft 2 piece 1.25lb tc. This rod was one of my first rods post John Wilson Avon Quiver and really showed me a world of difference between the two. It caught me a load of barbel and still is a joy to use. This rod bends through the full-length cork handle and really highlights the point about rods of a lesser tc. being used to effect on account of their action. It has two top tips - one avon and one, barely used, quiver section. It's clean with a few superficial marks. Sold with cloth bag. Offers.
1 Shimano Twin Power Carp. 11 ft 2 piece 2lb tc. Still in great condition, this rod would really not feel out of place in todays big river barbel fishing world. It has a lot of power that's felt throughout it's length and through action curve. Sold with cloth bag. Offers.
2 Shimano Diaflash Carp Rods. 12ft 2 piece 2lb tc. 2 very very clean rods, again that would not feel out of place in todays big river barbel fishing world. Very similar in action and power to the Twin Power above. Sold with cloth bags. Offers.
