Darren at Resilure rods is a very good rod builder. His work is definitely on par with Bob Gills quality workmanship.

Dave Lumb would be my first port of call. Very helpful, knowledgeable and very good value.

If you want a fishing rod and not an ornament, Dave Lumb, not knocking any others (I can't, having no experience of them) but Dave makes a good rod, he'll build it to your preferred spec regarding rings, Cork etc. I've had quite a lot of rods made by Dave and all are excellent.

*I had two made but one of them had an argument with my 2-tonne garage vice and lost, so I ended up having three made in the end.

I can recommend “Peragrine rods” I’ve had two rods built by Roger and cannot fault the quality of service.

Bob gill / mark Tunley / Lee Preston / I wish Bob was still making rods he does the best isoblobs in the game I’ve got a few of bobs rods and there top top quality. mark Tunley is a good friend of mine known him years great bloke to have a chat with about your requirements. who ever you decide to have one built by I’m sure it will be top quality good luck

If you live near Essex way east coast rod builders copied bobs isoblob for some rods u had done and you couldn’t tell the difference between them
